Who we are

 

CompRehab, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare and rehabilitation specialists that provides rehabilitation services to injured workers within the Minnesota workers’ compensation system.

We provide a variety of services to injured workers and their employers. Our specialists have a unique combination of education, professional credentials and experience.

CompRehab is a wholly owned subsidiary of SFM Mutual Insurance Company.

Tim Collin, M.S., OTR/L, CRC, QRC

Tim Collin, M.S., OTR/L, CRC, QRC

President and Chief Operating Officer

Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in occupational therapy from the University of St. Thomas, and a Master of Science degree in vocational rehabilitation counseling from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Tim has worked in the rehabilitation field since 1978.

He has a broad background in rehabilitation. He has worked in a clinical setting as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team assisting the injured with their functional recovery and return to work. He has also worked in a self-insured employer setting where he developed and presented education/training modules for injury prevention and successfully implemented return-to-work programs.

Tim has been with CompRehab since 2001. He provides statutory rehabilitation and case management services, teaming with injured workers to identify and remove barriers to return to work. Tim also provides consulting services and training regarding injury prevention through ergonomic means. He has expertise in the practical application of ergonomics in various work settings. He is a member of Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (MARP). Tim is also an approved provider for vocational rehabilitation in the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program (UCWCP).

Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

Anne is a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant with a Master of Science Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation with emphasis in Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment from the University of Wisconsin Stout and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University. She has been a member of the CompRehab team since 2005. Her experience includes working in public and private sector rehabilitation organizations. She has provided private sector rehabilitation services in the states of Arizona and Minnesota. She is experienced in performing vocational testing and is a Certified Vocational Evaluator. She is a Certified Disability Management Specialist with extensive case management experience. Anne is experienced in performing workstation evaluations, job analyses, providing career counseling and job placement services. She has provided rehabilitation services in an employer based setting. She managed a placement and return-to-work program for a large healthcare organization and was instrumental in the development of an internal placement program for disabled employees. She’s experienced in providing litigation support services and has experience providing expert witness testimony for Workers’ Compensation Hearings, Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) Hearings and Divorce proceedings. She is a member and current board member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (MARP). She has also served on the board for the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA).

Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

Jon is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. Jon has worked in the nursing field since 1996. In the seven years prior to coming to CompRehab, he worked as an intensive care nurse in a variety of settings including medical/surgical, trauma/neuro, and cardiac care units in the Twin Cities and across the nation. In addition, Jon has previous experience in a long-term care facility as a staff nurse and has experience as a home care nurse. Jon has been with CompRehab since 2003 and his expertise is utilized in the medical management of catastrophic injuries such as burns, spinal cord injuries, amputations and traumatic brain injuries.

Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

Keely graduated from University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and obtained her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of St. Thomas. She has 13 years experience in coaching and vocational rehabilitation fields, providing medical case management services and facilitating an employee’s return to suitable gainful employment. Keely is also skilled in a collaborative approach of working with all parties, including attorneys, employers and insurers, and injured workers to identify attainable vocational goals and assist clients with overcoming barriers to their successful return to work.

Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

Mathew is a senior rehabilitation consultant and a recent arrival to CompRehab. He has been a QRC for 24 years. He obtained a BA degree in Psychology from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. He served in the US Army Reserves for six years as a Combat Medic and was Honorably Discharged with a rank of E5.  He also received a Medal of Commendation while in the Army for administering CPR and saving a man’s life.  He earned a MS degree in Vocational Rehabilitation with an emphasis on Vocational Evaluation from UW Stout.

He is experienced and skilled in medical management, vocational counseling, job placement, ergonomic work station evaluations, job analysis, vocational testing, expert testimony, and transferable skills analysis. He has served as a mentor to colleagues. He enjoys working with the team of professionals to coordinate injured worker’s recovery and return to work. He is also experienced with serving veterans via the Ch 31 Vocational Rehabilitation program in the US Veterans Affairs Department.

Mat is located in Wadena, Minnesota, and is serving central and northern Minnesota as well as the St. Cloud and surrounding area.

Stacie Goodrich, M.A., OTR/L, CDMS, QRC

Senior Rehabilitation Consultant

Stacie is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica with a Master of Arts degree in occupational therapy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in health sciences. Stacie has 13 years of experience providing vocational rehabilitation services, medical case management services and ergonomic workstation evaluations. She performs ergonomic workstation evaluations in both office and industrial settings. Stacie is skilled in performing detailed job analyses and job coaching services. Prior to joining CompRehab in 2001, Stacie worked as an occupational therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting where treatment focused on post-operative orthopedic therapies, evaluation of physical capabilities, and discharge planning. Stacie has additional work experience as an occupational therapist in an elementary school setting. Stacie is a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP) and is an approved rehabilitation provider in the Exclusive Rehabilitation Consultant Network for the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program (UCWCP). Stacie focuses her case work on removing an injured worker’s barriers to returning to work, and enjoys the collaborative process of working with all parties in facilitating an appropriate and successful return to work for employees.

Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant

Jean has a Master’s degree in Counseling from St. Cloud State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Speech Communications and Business from the University of Minnesota. She completed graduate coursework in vocational rehabilitation from Mankato State University and received her CDMS certification in 2012.  Jean has worked in the rehabilitation field since 2011 and joined ComRehab, Inc. in 2013. She is skilled at working with all parties in the rehabilitation process to promote successful return to work and medical management outcomes.  Prior to working in the rehabilitation field, Jean worked in a wide variety of settings where she specialized in career counseling and development, transition management and personal and professional renewal.  Jean has also developed and facilitated numerous courses and workshops for several Twin Cities organizations, professional associations and national conferences.  She is certified in Coaching from the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, is a Nationally Certified Counselor and one of two career development professionals in the state of Minnesota to hold the Master Career Counselor certification from the National Career Development Association. In addition, Jean is a past president and board member of the Minnesota Career Development Association and past instructor of the “Career Planning Series” for the College of Continuing Education at the University of Minnesota. She is currently a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (MARP), Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA) and National Career Development Association (NCDA).

Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant

Becky has a Master of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in vocational rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.  She also completed a licensure program in education through Crown College. Becky returned to QRC work in 2015 after providing case management services in a school setting for several years.  She has worked in rehabilitation in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Her experience includes: medical management, vocational counseling,  job analysis, transferable skills analysis and job placement. In addition, she has conducted vocational evaluations for the Veteran’s Administration through the Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation Program.  Becky is also a licensed teacher.

Donna has worked in the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation industry since 1990, joining CompRehab in 2002. She is a graduate of the business/administration program at Crown College and holds certificates in management and supervision from Hennepin Vocational Technical College. Donna’s work experience includes office management, supervision, efficiency training, and implementation of efficiency procedures.

Laurie has been employed with CompRehab since 1992 and has been in the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation field since 1979. Laurie’s work experience includes supervision, developing and implementing new procedures/forms, and has assisted in testing and implementing a new computer system for CompRehab.
