CompRehab, Inc. is a multi-disciplinary group of healthcare and rehabilitation specialists that provides rehabilitation services to injured workers within the Minnesota workers’ compensation system.
We provide a variety of services to injured workers and their employers. Our specialists have a unique combination of education, professional credentials and experience.
CompRehab is a wholly owned subsidiary of SFM Mutual Insurance Company.
Meet our team

Stacie Goodrich, MA, OTR/L, CDMS, QRC
President and Chief Operating Officer
Stacie became President and Chief Operating Officer of CompRehab, Inc. an SFM company, in January 2019. She joined CompRehab in 2001 as a Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant.
She is a graduate of the College of St. Scholastica with a Master of Arts degree in occupational therapy and a Bachelor of Arts degree in health sciences. She has 18 years of experience providing vocational rehabilitation services, medical case management services, and ergonomic workstation evaluations. She performs ergonomic training and workstation evaluations in both office and industrial settings. She is skilled in performing detailed job analyses and job coaching services. Prior to joining CompRehab, Stacie worked as an occupational therapist in an inpatient rehabilitation setting where treatment focused on post-operative orthopedic therapies, evaluation of physical capabilities, and discharge planning. She has additional experience as an occupational therapist in an elementary school setting.
Stacie is a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP) and is an approved rehabilitation provider in the Exclusive Rehabilitation Consultant Network for the Union Construction Workers’ Compensation Program (UCWCP). She focuses her case work on removing an injured worker’s barriers to returning to work, and enjoys the collaborative process of working with all parties in facilitating an appropriate and successful return to work for employees.

Anne Lockwood, MS, CDMS, CVE, QRC
Senior Rehabilitation Consultant
Anne has a Master of Science degree in vocational rehabilitation with emphasis in vocational evaluation and work adjustment from the University of Wisconsin Stout and a Bachelor of Science degree in social work from St. Cloud State University. She has been a member of the CompRehab team since 2005. Her experience includes working in public and private sector rehabilitation organizations. She has provided private sector rehabilitation services in the states of Arizona and Minnesota. She is experienced in performing vocational testing and is a Certified Vocational Evaluator. She is a Certified Disability Management Specialist with extensive case management experience. Anne is experienced in performing workstation evaluations, job analyses, providing career counseling and job placement services. She has provided rehabilitation services in an employer based setting. She managed a placement and return-to-work program for a large healthcare organization and was instrumental in the development of an internal placement program for disabled employees. She’s experienced in providing litigation support services and has experience providing expert witness testimony for Workers’ Compensation Hearings, Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) Hearings and Divorce proceedings. She is a member and current board member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (MARP). She has also served on the board for the Minnesota Career Development Association (MCDA).

Jon Carlson, BSN, RN, CRRN, QRC
Senior Rehabilitation Consultant
Jon is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa. Jon has worked in the nursing field since 1996. In the seven years prior to coming to CompRehab, he worked as an intensive care nurse in a variety of settings including medical/surgical, trauma/neuro, and cardiac care units in the Twin Cities and across the nation. In addition, Jon has previous experience in a long-term care facility as a staff nurse and has experience as a home care nurse. Jon has been with CompRehab since 2003 and his expertise is utilized in the medical management of catastrophic injuries such as burns, spinal cord injuries, amputations and traumatic brain injuries.

Mathew Tolpingrud, MS, CRC, QRC
Senior Rehabilitation Consultant
Mathew has been with CompRehab since 2015. He has been a QRC for 24 years. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Augsburg College in Minneapolis. He served in the US Army Reserves for six years as a combat medic and was honorably discharged with a rank of E5. He also received a medal of commendation while in the Army for administering CPR and saving a man’s life. He earned a Master of Science degree in vocational rehabilitation with an emphasis on vocational evaluation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
He is experienced and skilled in medical management, vocational counseling, job placement, ergonomic work station evaluations, job analysis, vocational testing, expert testimony, and transferable skills analysis. He has served as a mentor to colleagues. He enjoys working with the team of professionals to coordinate injured worker’s recovery and return to work. He is also experienced with serving veterans via the Ch 31 Vocational Rehabilitation program in the US Veterans Affairs Department.
Mat is located in Wadena, Minnesota, and is serving central and northern Minnesota as well as the St. Cloud and surrounding area.

Becky Bowerman, MS, CDMS, QRC
Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant
Becky has a Master of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in vocational rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She also completed a licensure program in education through Crown College. Becky returned to QRC work in 2015 after providing case management services in a school setting for several years. She has worked in rehabilitation in both Wisconsin and Minnesota. Her experience includes: medical management, vocational counseling, job analysis, transferable skills analysis and job placement. In addition, she has conducted vocational evaluations for the Veteran’s Administration through the Chapter 31 Vocational Rehabilitation Program.

Kayla Haller, MS, CRC
Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant
Kayla joined CompRehab in 2017. She is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, has a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from St. Cloud State University, and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and communication sciences and disorders from the University of Minnesota Duluth. She is an experienced ADA job accommodation and employment specialist, and has also worked as a certified nursing assistant in a skilled nursing facility and hospital.

Lisa Vertelney, MA, CDMS
Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant
Lisa joined CompRehab in 2018. She has worked in the rehabilitation industry for more than 20 years specializing in placement, vocational testing, educational and labor market research. For more than eight years, as part of a two-person team, she completed vocational evaluations for workers’ compensation and railroad cases. In 2009 she received a master’s degree in human development with a focus on career development. Prior, as an owner of a military bus company, she developed policies and procedures required to work with many public agencies including the California Public Utilities Commission, San Diego County Regional Airport Authority, USO, and the United States Marine Corp. Lisa has additional work experience as a service coordinator for a temporary employment agency and a resource teacher in a community education, welfare-to-work program. In 2017, using her knowledge of the rehab industry and vocational background, she began work as a QRC. Lisa is a member of the Minnesota Association of Rehabilitation Providers (MARP). She is creative and focused on obtaining positive results by utilizing her extensive experience to understand and resolve the challenges encountered during the rehabilitation process.

Natalie Sinn, MS, CRC, QRC
Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant
Natalie is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and has been with CompRehab since 2018. She has a Master of Science degree in rehabilitation psychology from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota. Prior to joining us, Natalie worked for the State of Minnesota as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for young adults with disabilities. She performed case management, service coordination, job seeking skills training, career counseling and guidance, and collaborated closely with large teams.

Terrance Easley, MS, CRC
Qualified Rehabilitation Consultant
Terrance is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and joined the CompRehab team in 2022. He has a Master of Science degree in rehabilitation counseling and a Bachelor of Science degree in rehabilitation psychology, both from the University of Wisconsin. Terrance previously worked for the State of Minnesota as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for adults with various disabilities. He also worked in-patient psychiatric care as a Mental Health Associate with Abbott Northwestern Hospital. Terrance’s background is in case management, mental health counseling, service coordination, job placement services and career counseling.

Donna Heitz
Senior Administrative Team Member
Donna has worked in the workers’ compensation and rehabilitation industry since 1990, joining CompRehab in 2002. She is a graduate of the business/administration program at Crown College and holds certificates in management and supervision from Hennepin Vocational Technical College. Donna’s work experience includes office management, supervision, efficiency training, and implementation of efficiency procedures.
